Yesterday I received an invite from a friend to play Ultimate. It was awesome! the weather was not as prime as it could of been, with 20-35 mph gusts of wind it was not the smoothest game, but fun nontheless. These games are open to anyone who wants to come to the park and play. There are varying skill levels with some people being pretty into it and others more laid back. If you like to throw disc bring a light and/or dark colored shirt and show up!

Today is my Tutu’s Birthday! She won’t tell me how young she is. I also haven’t asked since I was about 10 years old. Here are some pictures from our trip back home in December 2009. My Tutu taught me how to play the ukulele. The first instrument I ever played and the only one I still play. I love you Tutu.

The other day my Aunty and Cousin rolled into town for a visit. I’ve been a little low energy the last few days due to a nasty cold, but tonight I was feeling a smige better and could actually taste my diner!

While growing up in Hawaii our family gathered together at my Papa and Grandma’s house almost every weekend, well at least it felt that way when I was younger. All the aunties and uncles, cousins and second cousins, it was quite the party. Spending time with family is always nice, since now a good lot of us have moved, spread across the country. I hope one day we can all come back together for at least one afternoon, to have lunch, exchange stories, laugh till the tears flow, and remember where we come from and how our past has shaped the way we all make our decisions through every day.

Just started using the GoPro HD Hero and I have to say that I sure do like what I’m seeing here. This video has no effects or adjustments to the color of the original recording. seems to be a little more stable than the operation I rigged up with my Kodak Zi8. Definitely more versatile. There will be more of these to come!

New seasons always bring new discoveries. For Murphy, it was a new place to stretch out and relax. I just hope he doesn’t forget when winter comes around again. Soak it up while you can Murph.
