Went for a bike ride in Missoula last Satuday. It was a beautiful fall day for a ride and the trails were great. I had never ridden in Missoula before so it was nice to get on some new trails in a different town.

Participated in my first downhill race last weekend at Silver Mountain. Silver Roxx is part of the All Gravity Series, which wraps up at the end of this month with the Moscow Arms Race in Moscow, ID. I took third in my category/age, but there were only three of us. I would like to say there is something to be said about getting through the two courses on a hard tail.

The Gravity Guild will be in Moscow for the final race of the series. I’ll hopefully be able to snap more photos than I did at Silver Mt. It was a fast a furious weekend. So awesome.

Yesterday I ordered a Surge from NS Bikes. Hopefully I’ll get it up and running asap since the season is pretty much here. This frame apparently is not available in the States yet. My local bike shop couldn’t order one and the one they could order was last years model… Here are some pictures of her. Dropouts to accommodate vertical or horizontal arrangements = awesome. I can’t wait to take her out.

The Gravity Guild, a gravity based cycling club in Helena, MT, hosted it’s first event this fall, the Helenduro. It was a success from many perspectives. With about 40 registered riders and a crisp day there was nothing but excitment for the organizers, team members, and all who came out to participate. Four of my photos were used in the Helena Independent Record for an article describing the Gravity Guild and the Helenduro.
